While writing copy, it’s a nice quick personal touch to be able to add in the person’s first name, title, or company name. Writing out these types of personal content for your entire campaign would be extremely time consuming. In one quick step you can add these personalized values into your copy.

Function

In a Flow draft, while writing your copy, you’ll notice along the toolbar “Template Values”. As you are writing you can click on that button and a list of different values that you can add will appear. You can either click on the value to add it where your cursor is in the copy or it will auto complete as you are typing. Begin with the correct code “{{“ and a drop down menu will appear for you to select from.

Available values:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Title
  • Work Phone Number
  • Company Name
  • Company Industry
  • Company Location
  • Company Size
  • Company Domain
  • LinkedIn URL

Benefit

Template values allow you to automatically add personalized touches to your email copy. It provides the appearance of an individual email if you have multiple template values added into a single message where applicable. It can be as basic as addressing the prospect by their first name in the beginning of a message, you need to add that value into the copy. Writing content to address their company or maybe you wrote copy to target their specific industry, makes it more personal than having no specific data points.
