We launched SalesyEmail.com on a whim this week. I actually had the idea and set up a similar site several months ago. I recently noticed that the original site had started to pick up some organic traffic, so I figured why not actually make it a thing.
SalesyEmail.com is a blog in search of the perfect sales email. And as you probably know, we live in a world of full of imperfect sales emails. So we’re going to start collecting them in order to provide examples, ideas, and edutainment to sales and marketing professionals.
If you’ve received a salesy email — good or bad — that you’d like to share, then send it on over and we’ll add it to the site. Aside for a few that I’ve received recently, the emails on the site are all crowdsourced from a handful of friends I contacted last week.
As our collection grows, we’ll add commentary, resources, and what-not. I’m not sure if this will turn into “People of Wal-Mart” for sales folks or if it will evolve into an educational resource — probably 50/50 odds as of now. 🙂
