Email Prospecting Performance Data

We've aggregated performance data across all of our clients in an effort to provide benchmark data to our clients and colleagues.

Here’s what the numbers say…

We update this data a few times per week. We only include clients that are sending more than 30 emails per day, meaning we don’t include new clients that we’re on-boarding.

We work with a broad swath of clients (SaaS companies, marketing agencies, consulting firms, etc.) that target a broad set of prospects, so evaluate this data accordingly. We hope that we can share this data by industry, company size, target prospect, etc. in the future.

Each graph shows daily actual and trend lines for average and high/low standard deviation for additional context.

The gaps in March are days that we turned off sending for all of our clients in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Open Rate: all opens / all delivered email
Are people opening my email? Are my domains / inbox in good shape? Are my emails hitting the inbox?

Reply Rate: all replies / unique prospects contacted
Are people responding to my email? Is my messaging effective?”

Lead / Reply Rate: all leads / all replies
Am I getting quality replies? How many replies to I need to get a lead?
