They develop and execute social media strategies for some of the biggest consumer brands in the world — like Nike, Samsung and Hasbro — sometimes taking on pieces of an already-in-place process, and other times running the full gamut of day-to-day strategy. 

Celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year, Ignite Social Media is the Original Social Media Agency® and they’re proud to be a majority women-owned and women-led business.


Ignite Social Media grew organically, and as a result they never had a big sales team. Leads came from SEO, referrals, etc. when prospects were actively looking for help with their social media strategies.   

While this organic growth strategy led to significant growth, the leadership team at Ignite started thinking about how they could be proactive with their outreach by getting in front of prospects before they were needed, instead of waiting for prospects to find them. So they started ramping up webinars and email blasts.

After some internal success with this new process, Ignite outsourced their efforts to another company that created costly email marketing campaigns on their behalf. But after a year, the results were expensive and unsuccessful and the team didn’t feel like their voices were being heard by the vendor.


After hearing about the success of a sister company that was working with RevBoss, Ignite Social Media decided to scrap their previous partner and start working with a team that had shown results.

Under the direction and expertise of the RevBoss team, Ignite was able to quickly ramp up outreach efforts to hundreds of qualified brands and target prospects across various industries like Consumer Goods, Retail and Hospitality.


In the first 3 months of the engagement, Ignite Social Media has already had conversations with big name brands like Pepsi Co, Ace Hotels and Gordon Food Service. With a very long, high touch and relationship-driven sales process, these early convos increase the likelihood that Ignite will be invited to RFPs.

Jenn Wagner, Business Development Manager, noted that while Ignite hasn’t signed any contracts yet, they’re really excited by the increased level of engagement, feedback and transparency that they’ve received so far — leading indicators of good things to come.
